Hello Michael: I was very glad to receive your blogs and to know that you are having the time of your life. How interesting and exciting it must be to see and experience Victoria Falls, and Rwanda and all it has to offer. Do enjoy your trek to Nairobi, and let us know when you have arrived. How are you getting there? Are there trains linking the countries, or do you have to fly from one country to another? I remember vividly my flight from Dar es Salaam to Kilimanjaro Airport on Air Tanzania - there was no such thing as a queue - it was a mad dash, and whoever was the fastest runner got on board first! Has that changed any?
Do take care. I think of you every day, many times.
Love from your mother, Jeanene

Since we're planning a stop at Victoria Falls next year, I was very interested to check this out. Exciting! Lounging at the edge of a massive waterfall - yikes - it made me anxious just looking at the pictures. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime kind of adventure.

Hello Lorne;
 I plan on being on Zanzibar for 20 days from December 18 to Jan 6 . I am contemplating renting a house in Stone Town and possibly at the beach as well if enough people are interested in order to make it worthwhile. It could be considerably cheaper and more interesting than staying at a hotel. Of course a game safari, Kili Trek, etc could easily be incorporated on a trip based on your preferences and budget. Get back to me with the when and what you are looking to do, ; and I will get back to you with some ideas on itineraries and costs. How many are you?
 Regards
 Mike Donovan
